Garmin Warranty Policy and Repair Process

Non-aviation products are warranted to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for one year* from the date of purchase.

To provide a better service and support for Singapore customers, start on 18th September 2020, Garmin Singapore Authorised Service Provider will provide additional 1-year warranty period, customers that locally purchase selected Garmin wearable products launched after 18th September 2020 will have 2 years warranty services.

This additional 1-year warranty is only limited in Singapore and Garmin Singapore Authorised Service Provider will keep providing until further notice.

FAQ:

1. Is there any additional cost for the 2 years warranty?

The 2-year warranty is included when the customer purchases the product, no additional costs will be charged. Customer must register their warranty on https://www.convergent.com.sg/garmin-wr/ within 60 days of the original purchase date.

2. What will the 2 years warranty cover?

What covered in the 1st year will be covered on the additional 1 year, and Garmin Consumer Limited Warranty terms and conditions are applied here.Kindly refer to the Garmin Consumer Limited Warranty: https://www.garmin.com/en-SG/legal/consumer-limited-warranty/

3. What is the warranty claiming process for the 2 years warranty?

You need to bring your POP (Proof of Purchase) when drop your faulty unit at service locations. Once repair done, you can pick up your unit at service locations again.

4. For Garmin products launched and purchased before 18th September 2020, does it cover the 2 years warranty?

We only provide this warranty on the products purchased and launched starting on 18th September 2020. Products launched and purchased before 18th September 2020 will only have 1 year warranty.It is part of our Buy Local campaign, which encourages Singapore customers to purchase locally.

5. What products are entitles for the 2 years warranty?

It is applicable on selected consumer wearable products launched after 18th September 2020.
Note: Consumer products do not include Handheld and Marine products. Garmin has the right to change list above without further notice.

6. How do we get/obtain this 2-year warranty?

Start on 18th September 2020 selected products range of consumer products purchase on official site, dealers and retailers in Singapore will have 2 years warranty. Customer may verify about this warranty at the point of sale. Customer may also refer to the 2 years warranty sticker pasted on the packaging.

Customer need to visit Garmin Extended Warranty Page and register the product with required details.

Step by step for the registration:

  1. Visit and register the device on following link: https://www.convergent.com.sg/garmin-wr/
  2. Fill the complete form with all required details with mandatory fields.
  3. Select the “I consent to the collection of my personal data entered on this page for the purpose of administering Garmin product registration.” option before submitting the form.
  4. Select “Submit Registration”.
  5. Extended warranty confirmation email will be sent to the customer within a few minutes once the verification is completed. Customer may keep the email for future reference.

Important Notes:
Extended warranty will be refused by the Garmin or its authorized service provider if in any of the information is found to be false or untrue or misleading or misrepresenting by the customers.
